Cookies

What are cookies?

Cookies are short pieces of data that are sent to your computer when you visit a website. On later visits, this data is then returned to that website.

Why do I need to enable cookies in my Web browser in order to shop?

If your web browser is set to refuse cookies from our website, you will not be able to complete a purchase or take advantage of certain features of our website, such as storing items in your Shopping Cart. As a result, we strongly encourage you to configure your web browser to accept cookies from our website.

Is enabling cookies safe?

Yes. Cookies are just short pieces of data, and they are unable to perform any operation by themselves.

How do I change this setting so I can shop the site?

The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to set your browser to accept new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Additionally, you can modify the settings for similar data used by browser add-ons, such as Flash cookies, by changing the add-on's settings or visiting the website of its manufacturer.

JavaScript

What is Javascript?

JavaScript is programming language implemented as part of a web browser in order to provide enhanced user interfaces and dynamic websites.

Why do I need to enable JavaScript in my Web browser in order to shop?

We use JavaScript to provide a dynamic interface for our website making navigation, access to the shipping cart and other functions easier and more intuitive for our customers.

Is JavaScript safe?

Yes. JavaScript operates in a "sandbox", in this case your web browser - meaning it can only operate within that sandbox, and not outside of it. JavaScript is an interpreted language, which among other things means that each operation a JavaScript program attempts to perform can be restricted by the JavaScript interpreter within the browser. This prevents a JavaScript program from doing anything harmfully to your computer.

How do I change this setting so I can shop the site?

The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to set your browser to enable and configure JavaScript.
